First there was the introduction of the motor car; then the computer, followed by the internet.
At the time, everyone stood back and watched but few expected these innovations in technology to become a part of everyday consumer life. But then there were those smart few who recognised their opportunity at an early stage and the rest is history –the likes of GM; IBM’s, Apple; Google and all those other ‘small businesses’ along the way.
Well is it possible the next biggest innovation in technology is right “under your nose” happening right now? Are you standing back watching? If this was just “hot air”, this business wouldn’t be the success story it is with E.B.P.I.T.D.’s varying between $500K and $600K p.a.! This is an industry where overseas countries, councils, the public and private sectors are investing heavily in these products and, believe me, there is no turning back now. In New Zealand, as in many parts of the world, the adoption is only really beginning and the opportunities are mind boggling.

Located on Auckland's North Shore, it's warehouse facilities are in an industrial area but the nature of its warehousing operations and the ability and willingness of staff to travel are such that relocating the business to an alternative site is a possibility as obtaining areplacement tenant for the existing premises in this particular area would, in all probability, not be too difficult.
The business is located in an industrial area and the premises comprise normal warehousing design including a mezzine floor. There is a front open plan office area for sales staff. Plenty of on site parking.
The business has shifted premises three times in recent years as a result of its historical growth and that growth is only expected to continue to increase and increase beyond the business' capacity to service same. It might be more realistic to say that the growth possibilities are really related to, and limited by, a new owner's vision and capability to manage that demand..
The business has been operating successfully for over a decade. No matter what the business there will always be competitors. Given the existing market in huge (which is in itself an understatement) competition per se is not an issue. The business' competitive advanage has its origins in the number of exclusive international suppier agencies it holds for New Zealand and its market recognition of providing quality service, which in turn is the reason for all the referral and repeat customer work it enjoys.
Decision to sell relates to age (in his 70's) and whilst some health concerns it is time to retire (or if the new owner wishes to retain the existing owner for a period, then semi retirement). Existing owner usually only works 3 to 4 days a week at present and regularly travels 1 to 2 months a year (overseas on holiday).
Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The current owner has indicated that should a new owner require the existing owner to remain during the transition of ownership (or indeed beyond that), he would be prepared to do so to ensure the future succcess of the incoming owner.
