Budds Bar has been owned and operated by our clients for c. 18 years and during this time have built up its reputation within Ayr as a “locals” bar, known for its friendly atmosphere and surroundings. Run completely as a wet led business, it is operated very much to suit our client’s requirements and it is due to retirement from the trade that they have decided to sell, giving an excellent opportunity for a first-time buyer to get into the licensed trade.
As previously mentioned the potential is there to start doing food, as the small kitchenette located behind the bar could easily be opened again. This area is not in use at present (used for storage) and would need refurbished but does offer the potential to any new owner.
The pub is opened from 11am-until c.10pm Monday, 11am- until 7pm Wednesday and Thursday, 11am- until 12.30 Friday, 11am- until 9pm onwards Saturday and from 1pm- until 7pm Sunday. Our clients currently close all day on a Tuesday.
There is also BT Sports on throughout the week and dominoes on a Monday night.
This is an exciting opportunity to purchase an established wet led pub that would work well as a family run operation and a viewing would be recommended to fully appreciate the potential on offer.
