The immediate expansion opportunities are likely in Auckland and the Waikato initially and hence the focus on the possibility of relocating part or all of its Wellington operation to Auckland. The vendor's competitive advantage is that it can and does service (via timely provision to its competitors' customers "spare parts" and the like for nearly all (if not all) of its competitors' imported machinery often where the competitor cannot service its own customers in a timely and satisfactory manner! If that wasn't enough, the vendor also imports its own specialised machinery and wholesales that to its own distributor outlets throughout the country.
